Fall is football and tailgating season. Try this recipe for for a great tasting addition to your tailgate.
- 2 quarts water
- 3 cups sugar
- 3 cups lemon juice
Boil water and add sugar. Stir to dissolve sugar. Boil for 5 minutes. Cool. Add lemon juice and stir. Store covered in the refrigerator.
Makes 11 cups of syrup
Lemonade (From Syrup)
- 1/2 cup Lemonade Syrup
- 1 cup cold water
Combine syrup and water. Stir well and serve over ice. Garnish with lemon slices if desired.
Makes one 12-ounce serving.
