Walker County 4-H Member Building for Future

For Alabama 4-H member, Morgan Humphries, her interest in Alabama 4-H was sparked when her aunt started a 4-H rabbit club. She was interested in learning how to raise rabbits and from there she began her journey in Alabama 4-H.

Along her journey, Morgan has made many memories but her favorite was when she and her Wildlife Habitat Evaluation Program teammates traveled to Auburn to not only compete in the state contest but to win the state contest that year.

When it comes to what her future will be in the 4-H, this Walker County 4-H club member has plans to go places. “My 4-H future includes being a counselor at 4-H day camp and going to nationals and winning at nationals in WHEP (wildlife habitat evaluation program)” said Morgan.

Rebecca Persons, Walker County 4-H agent, said “Morgan is a tremendous asset to our county, regional and state 4-H programs. She is one of our most active and enthusiastic 4-H club member and is poised for success in any project area she chooses.”
