Get Advice and Recipes from Holiday Food Hotlines

AUBURN UNIVERSITY, Ala. – Cooking for the holidays can be stressful. Sometimes, people may need a little help cooking a big holiday meal. Luckily, there are many food company hotlines that offer help with holiday cooking and baking.

Janet Johnson, an Alabama Extension regional agent of food safety and quality, said these hotlines can be a great tool during the holidays

“If you’re stumped on the best way to thaw, prepare or cook a turkey, have a baking-related question or are concerned about food safety, give the folks below a call,” Johnson said. “Many of the companies also offer recipes, free brochures and help online.”
